Baden Powell Trail Run and Fat Dog Skiing

Max and I tackled the classic Horseshoe Bay to Deep Cove run via the Baden Powell Trail. It was a very wet session, rain kept us company the whole way, but that didn’t stop us from having a great time. The route covered about 48 km with 3000 meters of vertical elevation gain, making it a seriously technical trail run.

Having Max along was fantastic, this was his 6th time running the route, and his experience really helped keep me on track through the tricky sections. Whether rain or shine, it’s always better to have a running buddy. Huge thanks to Max for guiding me through the ups and downs of this epic trail!

The next day I joined Alex, Adrien and Ben to go skiing in Manning park. My legs were still recovering from the run but I managed to keep up with the group. Fat Dog is actually my least favorite to ski. So much trees and very long logging road.
