I don't know how many times I've been to this area but the alders are getting worse every year. This year, someone put up a log bridge with rope upstream. We followed a flagged trail to the South fork of Channel Creek up to the first lake and from there, we stayed on the South side of the creek to the upper lake.
On 2nd day, we climbed Tigger Peak and lapped on the NE slope.
