Last night, Max and I joined a group of fellow Vancouver runners for a magical full moon run in Garibaldi Park. We covered about 30 km, starting from Rubble Creek and making our way up to Helm Pass.
The highlight of the night was definitely crossing the lake around midnight under the glow of the full moon. The scene was stunning, silver light reflecting on the water and the surrounding peaks bathed in moonlight. But the best part? Watching everyone try their best not to get their feet wet while crossing! There were some creative maneuvers, hesitant tiptoeing, and plenty of laughs all around.
It was a perfect night to be out, cool air, quiet trails, and great company. Definitely one for the memory books!
