Leigh and I went ski touring to Rainbow Mountain via 21 Mile Creek. A lot of fresh snow . There was no bridge deck on the last bridge to the lake. No sign of avalanche activity that day.
Leigh decided to stay above the lake to get some turns while I continued higher to the summit. I arrived on a windswept summit cold and had no visibility. Skied out in whiteout.
