Manson Ridge(Eleven Mile Creek) Loop

We started our day off Hwy 3 at the Hope Slide, gaining the west ridge of Johnson Peak via a flagged but faint trail that followed the ridge system toward Mount Manson. The terrain offered enjoyable ridge travel with some light bush and classic views of the surrounding Hope area.

From Mount Manson, we dropped down to the col and ascended Mount Hatfield via its south ridge. The route was straightforward, with good footing and expansive views from the summit.

Continuing along the ridge, we made our way toward Mount MacLeod. From the summit, we descended the south face, which brought us down into the recently logged slopes on the north side of Eleven Mile Creek. The logging made for quicker travel, though not particularly scenic.

We exited via the 8 Mile FSR, wrapping up a solid point-to-point traverse with a mix of alpine ridge, forest travel, and logging road navigation.
