Took a much-needed break from running to do something more relaxing, like hauling ourselves up mountains with heavy packs and questionable weather. Peak bagging season is back!
We set out for some alpine rock this weekend. Saturday’s weather? Absolutely moist. The approach featured miles of wet bushes doing their best impression of a cold shower. By the time we reached camp, we were soaked to the bone, smelling like damp moss and regret.
The plan was the Mount Clarke–Viennese traverse... but time, energy, and motivation all mysteriously vanished after we tagged Recourse. So we called it a win and turned back with our dignity (mostly) intact.
