I Gott it!

I couldn't leave early on Saturday due to a work commitment. I had to take a forklift re-certification test at work, which finished at noon.

I found myself at 2pm driving on hwy 1 heading north bound. There was one accident just before Squamish, a Toyota Matrix(?) t-boned a median barrier on South bound.

Stopped by at Squamish to pick up food and get gas. It started to rain by the time I have reached Whistler. The clouds further north didn't not look promising at all, ominous clouds hovering from the distance.

The logging road was bone dry and in great shape. After 10km mark, there were 4 water bars, which still doable with 2wd. On 9km mark where Duffy branch .03/.04 turn off , my eyes were fixated in a glaciated mountain on Southern side of the logging road.

I car-camped at the trailhead. It started to drizzle at 8pm just after I had my supper. The rain continued the next morning. I slept in till 10am, waiting and hoping the rain will stop. After what seemed a long time, I went out to give it a try. It was mixed of rain and snow on the top. I did not stay long, and headed down on a steep traverse to the pass.
