Solo mission in the mountain today. Pretty late start. I left my car at 1:36pm, after having to convince my old-man-self to do some exercise this weekend. I was lazy and no motivation to get out.
I climbed Thar Peak from the south side. The south aspect was pretty sun baked. It took me 1 hour and 20mins to the summit. As I was topping out the summit, someone called my name. It turned out it was Gloria and Lily. They climbed the Thar north couloir. After a short chat with them, I skied the north bowl and climbed back up to Nak and Yak col. From there, a short jaunt to the summit of Nak. I didn't stay long enough at the summit as the wind was picking up. Long ski descent on the north side, down to the gully and exit via Falls Lake back to my car. Blower pow on the north side and I didn't see anyone in the mountain except Gloria and Lily. 4 hours round trip.
