Got some serious mileage in today with a trail run after work, 29 km and 2,216 m of cumulative elevation gain on the Norvan Falls–Lynn Peak loop.
I started super late (6:42 pm), so I ended up using my headlamp on the descent. As I made my way down to the river in the dark, all I could think about were the stories of people who drowned or fell off the suspension bridge nearby. Definitely gave the run a creepy vibe! I tried to pick up the pace, but tripping over rocks and other obstacles had me more scared than smooth running.
On the bright side, my knees feel like they’re getting stronger!
